Not a showroom. A private room, prepared for one visit at a time.

The viewing rooms are not retail floors. They are quiet, appointment-only spaces — one in West Chelsea, one in Príncipe Real — where collectors, interior designers, and advisors can inspect selected works under raked light, confirm condition with a conservator, and take unhurried measurements against a wall, a sofa, or a corridor of memory.

Every appointment is prepared in advance. The pieces you intend to see are already on view when you arrive; the curator leading your visit has read the relevant provenance files; the door is closed for the duration of your session. We have run over six thousand eight hundred transactions since founding, and a great many of them began with a chair being pulled out, a coffee being poured, and a forty-minute conversation about a single canvas.

Our European room, opened in 2021 to serve our southern European and Latin American clients. A 1,800-square-foot piso nobre with original 19th-century tile floors, frequently programmed with single-artist installations from Iberian and Lusophone studios.

The Appointment

Four steps, beginning to follow-up.

A booking is a private arrangement, not a calendar slot. The flow below is how a typical request reaches us and becomes a session at one of the two rooms.

    Submit a Request

    Send a short note through the form below, or call the concierge line directly. Tell us which room, which dates, and whether there are specific works — or specific artists, movements, scales, or palettes — you would like to see. There is no minimum spend to request an appointment.

  2. 02

    Concierge Confirmation

    Within one business day a member of the concierge desk will reply with a proposed window, the curator who will lead your visit, and a short reading list — provenance notes, conservation reports, condition photographs — relevant to the works you have asked to see.

  3. 03

    The Viewing Itself

    Arrive to a closed door and a prepared room. Expect forty to ninety minutes depending on the number of works, with the curator present throughout. Scale rulers, raking lights, UV torches, and conservation magnifying glasses are available. You are welcome to bring a designer, an architect, a partner, or a collector friend.

    Considered Follow-Up

    The next morning your curator will send a written summary of the visit: the works seen, condition confirmed, prices held, and any related pieces the curator would like to surface for you. There is no urgency, no script, and no follow-up sequence — only the next quiet conversation.

Practical Questions

What to expect, what to bring, what to ask.

Can I arrive without an appointment?
No. Both rooms are private and operate by appointment only. Walk-in visitors cannot be admitted because the doors are typically locked during a session. If you are in the neighbourhood and wish to view, our concierge can often accommodate a same-day booking subject to availability — call ahead.
Is there a charge for a viewing?
No. The viewing itself is complimentary, whether you arrive with a specific piece in mind or simply wish to browse a curated selection we have prepared. We ask only that you give us at least twenty-four hours' notice if you need to cancel, so we can release the curator's time.
Can I bring an interior designer, an architect, or a partner?
Yes, and we encourage it for works destined for a specific wall. Please mention the number of guests when you submit your request so we can prepare enough seating, light readings, and printed material. For studio visits or trade pricing, please notify the concierge in advance.
If I purchase, how is the work shipped?
Domestic shipments above $4,500 include insured white-glove delivery with two-person crating and, where requested, on-site installation by our installation partner. International shipments are routed through our consolidator in Rotterdam with full customs documentation. Average fulfilment from purchase to delivery is eleven business days, with a 98.4% on-time delivery rate in 2024.
What should I bring to the appointment?
A measuring tape, a photograph of the intended wall or room, your architect's plans if relevant, and any questions about the work's medium, edition, provenance, or condition. A notebook is often more useful than a phone — we find the conversations are better when they are not being recorded.
Do you host group visits, school tours, or press previews?
Group visits of more than four people should be arranged through the concierge at least two weeks in advance. Press previews and acquisitions trips for design studios are a core part of what we do — please write to [email protected] and a member of our press desk will reply within one business day.
